    I love the homecoming series I started reading them when my sister had to read the homecoming book the first book of the series for a school project after that I started the second book now I'm on to the third A solitary blue.

    This story really tells of the hardships some children whose parents have abandoned them are really like and Cynthia Voigt did a fantastic job connecting with the readers through the characters emotions and had an excellent vocabulary that really heightened the feelings and pictures going through the readers minds. What a page turner!!
